The Weather Girls are a group of characters I have designed, and created a range of artwork for, including zines, book covers and comics.

Each character is the physical embodiment of a type of weather:

Mirri is Sunshine

Sade is Rain

Taron is Lightning

Neve is Cloud

Qanuk is Snow

Esen is Mist

They got pretty bored being particles in the sky, so at the request of Taron, they decided to try being human. You know, for a laugh. They may be millions of years old, but living together under one roof has become one of their biggest challenges. Mirri, unlike the others, is the physical embodiment of no weather at all, and so fears her lack of purpose and substance within the group. She desperately tries to prove herself to the others, leading to a range of mishaps and shenanigans.

The stories I create with these characters are comedy focused, with themes of found family and LGBTQIA+ representation.
